Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does Intelligex do?

Intelligex helps businesses improve operations through AI integration and digital transformation. We connect systems, automate workflows, improve reporting, and reduce manual effort and rework.

What kinds of outcomes do you focus on?

We focus on operational outcomes such as faster cycle times, fewer errors, less rework, clearer visibility, and smoother cross-team handoffs, without disrupting day-to-day work.

Do you replace our tools?

Usually not. We prefer “integrate, don’t replace” and improve how your existing tools work together. We only recommend replacements when there is a clear reason.

What industries do you work with?

We work across industries because many workflow problems are universal. We tailor solutions to your domain requirements, data sensitivity, and operating constraints.

What size companies are a good fit?

We commonly support small to mid-sized businesses and growing teams, and we also help larger organizations with specific high-impact workflows.

What locations and regions do you work with?

We have experience working with companies around the world. Our current operating focus (contracts, office setup, and working time zones) is aligned to North America (Canada and the US, West Coast to East Coast) and the Gulf region, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

Do you offer consulting, implementation, or both?

Both. We can help with assessment and roadmap work, and we also build and deploy integrations, automations, and operational reporting.

Do you only use AI?

No. We use AI when it’s the best tool for the job. Many improvements come from better workflow design, integration, validation, and monitoring.

Can you work alongside our internal team?

Yes. We often act as an extension of your operations, IT, or analytics team to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.

What problems are a good fit for Intelligex?

Good fits include repetitive work, slow approvals, messy handoffs, duplicated data across tools, reporting delays, and workflows that don’t scale without adding headcount.

What are common early wins?

Common early wins include automating intake and routing, standardizing approvals, reducing spreadsheet handoffs, fixing sync issues between core tools, and improving dashboards and alerts.

Can you start with a single workflow?

Yes. Starting with one workflow is the simplest way to prove value and build a repeatable pattern for future automation.

Can you support multiple departments?

Yes. Many projects involve multiple stakeholders (e.g., Ops + Finance + IT). We design the workflow end-to-end across teams and tools.

What if our processes are not documented?

That’s common. We can map your current process quickly during discovery and produce lightweight documentation as part of delivery.

What if our data is messy?

Also common. We can improve data quality using validation rules, standardization, and exception queues so the workflow becomes reliable.

Do you build customer-facing AI chatbots?

We can, but we focus mainly on internal operational workflows. If a chatbot is needed as a part of a bigger solution, we will build one.

What if we have strict compliance requirements?

We design with compliance constraints, least-privilege access, audit trails, and human approvals where necessary, and we coordinate with your compliance team.

Do you support content/SEO operations workflows?

Yes. We can streamline content pipelines, publishing workflows, and tracking systems, while keeping review steps for quality control.

Do you work with legacy/on-prem systems?

Often yes. We can integrate via secure file transfer, scheduled exports, APIs where available, or staged modernization approaches.

What if we already tried automation and it failed?

We typically see failures caused by unclear ownership, missing monitoring, or poor exception handling. We address those design gaps and rebuild with reliability in mind. Additionally, working with Intelligex means no failure for you; our payment is conditional to at least 5x improvement on one dimension (or more) that we agree on during our scoping conversation.

We typically aim to improve at least one of the following dimensions by at least 5x (our average is ~35x improvement):

  • Cost (incl. staff salary)
  • Speed/time
  • Scalability/Capacity
What services does Intelligex offer?

Typical services include workflow discovery, solution design, systems integration, automation build, data pipelines, dashboards/alerts, documentation, training, and post-launch support.

What deliverables should we expect?

Deliverables typically include a working workflow/integration, documentation, ownership rules, monitoring/alerts, and a handoff so your team can operate it.

Do you provide ongoing maintenance?

We do. Options range from light support for bug fixes and tuning to ongoing optimization and expansion across workflows.

Can you integrate automation with approvals?

Yes. We commonly design approval gates and exception queues so automation supports teams without removing necessary oversight.

Do you build dashboards and reporting?

Yes. We can build operational dashboards, reporting pipelines, and alerting so teams can detect issues and act quickly. Also, each automation tool we build, usually comes with a dashboard or reporting system to measure different metrics of the process, and the impact.

Do you support documentation and SOP updates?

Yes. We produce documentation for our work and can help update SOPs so the new workflow is consistent and trainable.

Can you deliver in iterations?

Yes. We deliver in short cycles so you see working outputs early and we can adjust based on real feedback.

Do you do training and enablement?

Yes. We train operators, reviewers, and stakeholders, and provide playbooks for day-to-day operation and escalation.

What specific technologies (LLMs, RPA tools, cloud platforms) do you use?

We choose tools based on your stack and constraints. Depending on the project, we may use LLMs for extraction/summarization, orchestration tools, APIs/webhooks, ETL/ELT pipelines, and RPA only when APIs aren’t available.
